Ultrasonic food cutting is an advanced technology that employs high-frequency vibrations—typically in the range of 20 kHz to 40 kHz, which is beyond the threshold of human hearing—to enhance the precision and efficiency of slicing food products. Unlike conventional cutting methods that rely on applying force through a sharp blade, ultrasonic cutting uses a blade, also known as a sonotrode, that vibrates at ultrasonic frequencies.

How It Works

The system consists of a few key components:
