Plastic Welding Machine – Working Principle
An ultrasonic
plastic welding machine is an industrial technique that uses high-frequency
acoustic vibrations to join two thermoplastic parts together by converting
high-frequency electrical energy into mechanical vibrations. These vibrations
generate localized heat through interfacial friction and Latency heat at the
interface of the plastic components, causing them to melting the plastic
precisely at the joint interface to form a molecular bond. We can understand

Typically 20–40 kHz and sometimes 15
kHz or higher frequency is used .
